I used it for a 6 week period during the summer going into my Junior year. It helped me to gain an extra 10 pounds which was great! It could be a complete coincidence, but only two months later I got a stress fracture in my hip/femur and had to get two screws put in it and was out of running for a very long time. I have heard that it has caused freak injuries in the past to others so I still feel like it had some sort of influence on the injury. No way of telling though.. Regardless, if you can stay away from it I would. If you really can't gain weight and need some assistance, don't overdo it. Only a few weeks!  less
